Indus Wings Group of Colleges has launched its campus in the center of Kahuta city, which is now the hub of educational activities. Kahuta, an eastern tehsil of Rawalpindi, is situated in the Himalayan foothills approximately 30 km southeast of Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad.
The whole of the tehsil, except for the southwest corner, lies in the hills. Kahuta is a beautiful place with many mountain ranges, breathtaking views, snow-capped mountains, forests, gushing rivers, and a cool climate—hot in the summer with more rainfall giving it coolness, and cold in the winter. It is home to different species of wildlife and various tribes living off the land. Both nationally and internationally, Kahuta is famous as the home of KRL, one of the largest government national research facilities and laboratories, also known for livestock.
Despite a good number of institutions contributing to the promotion of education in the area, there are still important educational, social, and economic goals to be achieved. Education has proven to be the main source for the overall development of society as well as any locality. To realize this fact, Indus Wings Group of Colleges aims to provide quality education at an affordable cost to this thickly populated area. In terms of its perfect location, it can be easily accessed from Kahuta city as well as surrounding areas like Jewra, Mowara, Narar, and Kallar Syedan.
