Bs in English Language and Literature (4 Years)

Program Outcomes

  • Readiness for qualitative/quantitative research in literature & linguistics.

Objectives:

Develop the ability to read and analyze linguistics & literary texts within historical, socio-political, cultural, and philosophical contexts; strengthen expression across poetry, prose, drama, and nonfiction; build linguistic/rhetorical skills through sustained reading, writing, and class discussion.

Admission Eligibility Criteria

  • 4 Years: Intermediate (≥45%) or A-Levels with IBCC equivalency (or equivalent).

  • 2 Years: Associate Degree in relevant discipline (≥45% or CGPA 2.00). Scheme from 5th–8th semester is followed.

  • 2.5 Years: Bachelor’s (14 years of education) with ≥45% or CGPA 2.00. After Bridge Semester, follow 5th–8th semesters.
    Entry test or aptitude interview may be required by the University.
